Tuesday 1:10pm
So we didn't go out for supper last night. It was bumped up to tonight and then bumped up again. It's hard to make plans when the plans keep changing. Right now, the plan is to go to the IMAX Superman Returns and then to my parents afterwards to get some stuff we left there. I am sure glad my parents are coming up in a few weeks to see us because I'm not seeing them as much as I thought I would on this trip. It's hard because so many people came from long distances (Taiwan, Flin Flon, Winnipeg, Cochrane) that you feel bad taking off. We did spend one day in Swift Current and one day in Regina but it always seems like we're missing people and we can't give them the time they deserve. I know Dad always tells me that you can't please people all the time but if you don't try, then you end up hurting those you love the most. I wish I could clone myself so I could go and visit everyone I wanted to. But I can't so I'll do the best I can. There, my pity rant is over.
Today, we took Faith out for lunch. The last window is being put in as we speak. It's stinky so we're spending most of the day outdoors. It's very hot so I'm trying to take advantage of it. Pretty soon we'll have to get ready to go to the movie. Len and Marj took the grandparents to Mullberry Estates for lunch. I guess it's a trial thing. For no charge, people can can have lunch, a tour and even a three night stay. I'm not too sure if they are going to stay the night but I wouldn't be too surprised. I don't think that they have any intentions of moving here but if you get an idea that moving into one of these homes isn't the terrible idea that you thought, I think that's great. I'm so glad Grandma and Granpa decided to move to theirs when they did. Just to know that they were well taken care of and safe was a relief. And now that it's just Grandma, there was no big adjustment needed.
